Mid-ticket engagement
SPACE Advisory
You do not need another platform or a massive transformation. You need someone steady in your corner who knows where systems and automation actually fit, and where they do not, so you stop guessing and stop wasting spend.
For leaders who want steady, fractional guidance without the cost of a full-time hire.
A fractional advisory relationship anchored on the Priorities and Capacity dimensions of SPACE, with all five in scope. We turn early clarity into an ongoing, stabilizing partnership.
What you get
- A Systems and Automation Assessment to kick off, with a key findings report written by Kevin
- Six 2-hour working sessions, one every two weeks across roughly twelve weeks
- Prioritization and practical support: what to automate, how, why, and what to leave alone
- Owner plus up to 3 stakeholders included (additional stakeholders $300 per month each)

Advisory is led by Kevin Smith, founder of Steady Bridge Consulting and creator of the SPACE Method™: 20+ years of engineering plus firsthand owner-operator experience. Meet Kevin
A fractional advisor for how the work runs, not the books
Search for a fractional advisor and you mostly find finance: fractional CFOs and bookkeeping oversight. SPACE Advisory is the operations-side counterpart: fractional, senior guidance on systems, automation, and priorities, the way a fractional COO steadies an operation, without the full-time cost. You get a standing partner who knows your business, answers the “should we automate this?” questions with evidence, and keeps spend pointed at bottlenecks instead of shiny tools.
The cadence is deliberate: six two-hour working sessions, one every two weeks across roughly twelve weeks, covering delegation design, automation triage, priority resets, and the findings from your Systems and Automation Assessment. The owner plus up to three stakeholders are in the room; additional stakeholders are $300 per month each. Between sessions the work moves; in sessions it gets steered. After the first three months, engagements either renew at the same cadence or convert to a longer retainer; the minimum exists so the first roadmap actually gets built, not to lock you in.
Want just the assessment first?
The Systems and Automation Assessment is available on its own for $5,000: a deep, written read on where to start across your systems and automation. If you go on to start Advisory, the full $5,000 credits toward it.
This is for you if...
- ✓You want steady, senior guidance without a full-time hire
- ✓You have a team that can move the work between sessions
- ✓You want evidence before you spend on tools or platforms
Not for you if...
- You want a strategy deck only
- You're not willing to change how things run
- You need fixed-price, done-for-you implementation
